Finally we disembarked but our luggage could not be processed there as not enough custom agents. We ended up on buses and arrived at Sydney airports after a 3 hours trip. There we had to queue in line with 240 more passengers to file a lost luggage claim. We received the luggage after 48 hours, many of which spent holding with non-existent United customer service. Never able to speak to an actual person during those long phone calls.

The Gentle Barn is currently located in Los Angeles, California, Nashville, Tennessee, and St Louis Missouri. It is open to the public once a week for guests to hug the cows, give the pigs tummy rubs, cuddle the turkeys, feed the horses, hold the chickens, and learn their stories of resilience. During the rest of the week The Gentle Barn is available for private tours, VIP all day tours, school field trips, birthday parties, groups of at risk, inner city, and special needs kids, and special events. I followed up a much longer and cheaper trip from Honolulu on southwest, everything was phenomenal, this flight was the exact opposite. Blows my mind they charge for water of all things. I’ll be avoiding spirit like the plague from here forward.
It takes more than one day to fully explore and enjoy the scholastic treasures found on every floor of the Magic House. Exhibitions such as the Bubble Room and the Lewis and Clark Adventure are designed to educate and entertain people of all ages. Visit the art studio at the lower level early in your visit. You can leave your child’s paintings there to dry while you explore the rest of the museum! Just don’t forget to pick them up before you head out, or you WILL be making a return trip at the insistence of your children (speaking from experience). In 2019, to further extend the reach of The Magic House in the community, we opened MADE for Kids, a new satellite location created for children ages 4-14 on the north side of Delmar Boulevard in the City of St. Louis.

You can also find these cards (which look more like brochures) at Dierbergs, Shop ‘n Save or Schnucks. The free Fridays are always the 3rd Friday of the month.
Find which airlines fly direct from Los Angeles to Lambert-St Louis, which days they fly and book direct flights. Intended to be in intimate experience for a small group of organized adults only. This tour follows the same format and description of the Family Tour but is intended for a larger group of adults only from mixed households as part of an organized group activity. This tour is perfect for a company team building activity. The Magic House is well worth it’s $12 admission fee, but this gets a little expensive if you have a big family. I know of a couple ways to get in the Magic House for free, and couple more places where you can find coupons.

The Magic House, as well as MADE for Kids, also has Free Family Nights the 3rd Friday of every month from 5-8 pm! This covers families with up to two adults and four children. Everyone from grandparents on down can have fun at The Magic House, but the exhibits are mostly designed for younger children. The “For Baby & Me” area features a peek-a-boo barn, baby gym, and miniature school bus. Toddlers can spend their time at “A Little Bit of Magic,” a fun exhibit that includes a textured tunnel to crawl through, a sandbox for digging, and a mirror maze. The Magic House uses Digital Membership Cards.
Your membership supports the Museum, while providing your family with special benefits that only members receive. I paid for Economy Plus but was required to check my standard carry-on luggage due to lack of space on the aircraft. This cost me 30 minutes, unexpectedly, in waiting at the baggage claim.
